BGatF Bio / Highlights

Blake Gardner & The Farmers was formed in Columbia, Missouri after sprouting from vocalist/guitarist Blake Gardner’s solo singer/songwriter project (alternately under the title of “Blk Grdnr”).  Guitarist Sam Reed, bassist Zach Bentley, and drummer Tim Schrautemeier joined as “the Farmers” in October 2012.  The band now includes saxophonist KronSax, drummers/percussionists Brandon Phillips and Leighton Dennis, guitarist Adam Fairchild, pianist Kevin Jerez, bassist Jordan Tucker, and features occasional appearances by other friends and musicians.

Blake Gardner & The Farmers break free from being able to be defined by a single genre through mixing together elements of blues, reggae, hip-hop, funk, and nearly everything else under the sun. Known for their improvisation and collaboration with other artists, Blake Gardner & The Farmers are sure to make each performance as unique and memorable as the last.

Within the past 7 years (2012-2017), BGatF has released one studio album [Cricked Roots 2014], six live mixes [DEAD @ The Bridge 2013, BLIND @ The Pig 2013, STUFFT @ Mojo's 2014, WAKKED @ Rose Music Hall 2015, SKANKED @ Rose Music Hall 2015, BURNT @ SCamp 2017, MOONED @ Earth Day 2018], and one EP [Summer Mix 2012] (under the solo artist name Blake Gardner).
